HLSe

HLS with AES128 (HLSe) is a technique for encrypting transport stream segments when delivering them for HLS playback. It uses a simple AES128 algorithm and a simple key exchange format embedded within the manifest file. It is not a DRM technology but does provide some level of in-flight content protection.
